Although classic antivirus approach was sufficient in the past by themselves, they have improved themselves as attack and virus types have been diversified and created protection methods for viruses that have not been coded yet.

Machine learning and behavioural analysis are among the methods used for this improvement. The term of endpoint has arisen as different types of malwares have appeared and requirements have been intensified.

For instance, endpoint, in addition to antivirus software, aims to ensure both security of the users and efficient use of computers by the users in various areas by encrypting your sensitive data and allowing sharing these data only with the persons authorized, preventing data leakage a la DLP, preventing operation of the applications in the client computer, preventing access to undesired websites or website categories and preventing operation of external storages (CD, DVD, USB etc.).

Endpoint-installed computers continue to be protected and receive security policies even out of the office. Central administration and endpoints can create and distribute security conditions per computer and user in a short period of time and problematic users and computers can be immediately detecting by receiving reports instantly.

Another advantage of endpoints is to prevent access of problematic clients to other computers or internet by operating with UTM devices in synchronization.
