IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT - AUTHENTICATION
Identity and Access Management (IAM) / Authentication is the security solution controlling and ensuring access of right persons to right resources by right access details.
System and network based regulations are ensured via role-based access control.
While controlling access of users to critical information, they can be assigned with authorities to view, create and modify specific files depending on job definition of the users.
Access of right persons to right information is ensured by applying identity authentication to the users while logging on environments such as Windows Log On, VPN and OWA via Two Factor Authentication (2FA) or Multifactor Authentication (MFA). 2FA or MFA systems generate one time password (OTP) to ensure the user to log on the system via identity authentication. Thus, two-factor or multifactor identity authentication is ensured by OTP, generated by the password generation device assigned to the user, password and user details.
